Amid this pandemic, we all need a few colours and fun in our lives. The motive is to come along and encourage one another to create the best of ourselves. On March 10, Artoze Gallery and Exhibition, one of the leading online art galleries is organising a National Inter-School and Inter-University art competition event for all the young and eager artists across the UAE, giving them an opportunity to showcase their artistic skills and compete with other students from across different schools. This is a great opportunity for students to showcase their skills and abilities.

"It has always been a great experience working with Artoze. Artoze is doing a great job by providing multiple opportunities for artists to participate from all over the globe. I have also been featured on the cover of their art magazine which was one of the best opportunities. I look forward to many such associations with them ahead," says Nada Al Barazi, a well-renowned artist in the UAE.

"The Australian International School Sharjah has happily participated in the Artoze online exhibitions. It is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their visual art talents and proudly see their works exhibited in an online gallery. The students thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to hear from other artists at the open day and were able to discuss their works in front of international artists," says Kylie Vidler, an art teacher at AIS, Sharjah.

"The pandemic has actually taught us a lot of things now. But I strongly feel that it is in our hands-on how to use this time as an opportunity. With the art exhibition going virtual, the opportunity for the artists, students and everyone else now is massive. You don't present to a selected few, but you stand a chance where the audience of yours is now beyond your school or university or your city and country. I'm really happy to see that Artoze was very quick in adapting to the new normal. During my experience with them as a jury, the best part was that students had an opportunity to showcase their talent in a realistic online gallery and interact with fellow artists while staying safe in their homes," says Varsha Sureka, a visual artist.

This art competition will have nine winners across three different categories, with prizes like a Smart HD LED TV, Google Home smart bluetooth speakers, Lenovo Bluetooth headsets and many more. While the theme is an open topic, the students can submit as many artworks as they want and stand a chance of winning some amazing gifts.

A certificate of participation will be provided to every student by Artoze. The online art competition provides an excellent chance to meet new individuals from across the country that helps students become more confident.

The gallery receives over 25,000 viewers every month and has showcased more than 350 artists from more than 50 countries, thereby making it an excellent chance for schools and universities to be a part of it. Interested students, schools and universities can register with them on their website at www.artoze.com
