Jilani UBL's consumer head
ABU DHABI — Syed Abdul Hameed Jilani has taken over as Consumer Head of United Bank Limited (UBL), UAE with immediate effect.
Jilani, a veteran banker with 30 years experience with the banking industry, joined BCCI in 1978 in Abu Dhabi. Later, he worked for Middle East Bank in marketing department. Jilani also worked with Union National Bank (UNB) 's wealth management department. Prior to his recent assignment, Syed Abdul Hameed Jilani was United Bank Ltd's Regional Manager Abu Dhabi/Al Ain.
The bank has a network of eight branches in the UAE, with a expanding balance sheet.
