The event was held from December 15 to 18 at Mumbai. “The Gulf has a history of affinity with the Indian Subcontinent. We have been trading for mutual benefit for centuries. It is now time for us to deepen the relationship further. Indians living in the UAE have already responded with enthusiasm to the offering of the last Jumeirah beachfront property,” said Hashim Al Dabal, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Property, part of Dubai Holding Group. JBR showcased 36 residential towers comprising 6,500 housing units and four luxury hotel towers along-with a "Retail Space" The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence with a leasable area of 770,000 sq. ft. housing over 400 retail outlets. “We now want Indians, especially those living just a couple of hours flight time away from Dubai, to see the quality development we are building and choose to make it their second home,” he added. Al Dabal pointed out that another, and perhaps the more important reason for JBR's participation in the UAE Trade Exhibition in India is to help support the growth of the two economies — an objective that the exhibition aims to achieve.

The UAE Trade Exhibition in India is a unique initiative led by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dubai's Ports, Customs and Free Zones Corporation and the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing.
