The airline will initially provide flights from Kuwait to Dubai, Beirut, Bahrain Damascus, Amman, Luxor and Alexandria.

Marwan Boodai, Chairman of Jazeera Airways, said the decision to launch in October is based on the decision to start by flying two Airbus A320 aircraft owned by Jazeera currently being manufactured in Toulouse, France. The other two Jazeera A320 aircraft will be delivered in 2006.

"We were in negotiations with alternative suppliers to lease two A320 aircraft until the Jazeera owned brand new planes were ready for our October launch."
