Istithmar wins Banker ME award
DUBAI — Istithmar was awarded the '2007 Best Private Equity House Award' from Banker Middle East, a member of the CPI Financial Group. Istithmar was nominated by a panel comprising international industry specialists and then voted upon in a competitive process among other prominent private equity firms in the region.
Congratulating Istithmar on the occasion, Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of Dubai World, said: "Dubai World will continue to support Istithmar's ambition of becoming the premier private equity and alternative investment house in the region by affording it access to patient capital, extensive industry expertise and a global geographic network.
