ISACA plans global event in Dubai

DUBAI — ISACA, a global organisation for information governance, control, security and audit professionals, is organising an integrated two-day international conference covering various aspects information at the Sheraton Jumeirah Hotel on October 24 and 25.

ISACA (previously known as Information Systems Audit and Control Association) is also planning an Information Governance Forum (IGF) at the same venue.

Saji P. Oommen, president of ISACA UAE Chapter, said the events were part of the group's commitment to help the industry to benefit from best practices in IT Governance and to create highly effective IT organisation.”

ISACA has 65,000 members worldwide.

The theme of the International conference is I-SAFE: Information Governance in this e-World. The acronym I-SAFE (Information-Security, Audit & Assurance, Forensics and Emerging Technologies) represents various aspects of information to be covered in the conference, sadi Oommen.

The conference will bring together professionals who are responsible for audit, control and security for industry, academic and government entities. It will present an unprecedented networking opportunity as more than 200 delegates are expected to participate in this groundbreaking conference.
