Oil demand for road transport should peak around 2025
‘Brand India’ is being coordinated by the Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries (SIATI) and has been officially rolled out in the country’s aerospace capital Bangalore.
“We have successfully presented the case for ‘Brand India’ and the feedback has been highly encouraging with SIATI expecting to expand its initial pavilion space request by around 20 per cent,” explained Clive Richardson, chief executive, Aerospace Division, Fairs & Exhibitions (F&E), which organises the Dubai air show.
To date, SIATI has 17 confirmed participants for its ‘Brand India’ pavilion, including the government-run space technology developer Indian Space Research Organisation and aeronautical research & development establishment, National Aerospace Laboratories.
“The Dubai air show gives Indian companies an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their combined aeronautical manufacturing and servicing capabilities to an international market,” said Dr C. G. Krishnadas Nair, president, SIATI. “The show will also provide opportunities for collaboration in the industry’s education and training sectors," he observed.
And with almost three months to go before the curtain goes up on Dubai 2005, which will run at an expanded Airport Expo Dubai from November 20 to 24, SIATI is hopeful of further expanding the ‘Brand India’ group.
India is among 13 national or industry pavilions so far committed for Dubai 2005, which to date has confirmed exhibitors from 42 countries. Dubai 2005 is organised by F&E in conjunction with the Department of Civil Aviation, Government of Dubai and in collaboration with the UAE Armed Forces.
