i-mate launches three new products

DUBAI - i-mate, innovators of end-to-end wireless device solutions with its headquarters at Dubai Internet City, launched three new mobile devices at Gitex.

The products are, the i-mate PDA2k, i-mate SP3i and i-mate Jam with improved functionality and increased features, each device specialised to suit different requirements.

Jim Morrison, founder and chief executive officer of i-mate, told this correspondent, “The i-mate PDA2k is priced at Dh 3,350 and i-mate SP3i is priced at Dh1,600 with windows mobile software, built in camera and bluetooth capability, but each one focuses on different functions to meet the needs of the user.”

He also said: “These three new devices and the i-mate Pocket PC will cater to the needs of all mobile device users. Hopefully, these products will capture a huge market in the UAE.”

The third device launched at Gitex is the i-mate Jam. It is designed as a small, mid-tier music device with audio facility, it can be used for accessing online music and internet with the built in GSM/GPRS mobile phone and the new Windows Media Player 10.
