Hosted Buyers Programme at UAE Trade Exhibition

DUBAI International Expo-Consults (IEC), the technical organiser of UAE Trade Exhibition in India which will be held from May 12-15 at the Mumbai World Trade Centre, will have a "Hosted Buyers Programme."

The exhibition is being mounted by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), Public Corp. for Ports Customs and Free Zone and the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).

The "Hosted Buyers Programme" will be co-ordinated by the Mumbai based India-Tech Foundation, an Industry Association for International Techno-economic Co-operation.

Indra Mohan, President, India-Tech Foundation, said: "We are confident the ‘Hosted Buyers Programme' will raise the profile of the exhibition and ensure exhibitors meet key ardent buyers who are interested in sourcing products from the UAE.

"Procurement professionals from throughout India will represent different sectors of the industry providing synergy with exhibitor demands.

"As a bilateral independent trade development body we can make the ‘Hosted Buyers Programme' a success with our experience and with the support of over 400 member companies."

Dubai's exports to India in 2001 were Dh5.9 billion, 4.19 per cent of Dubai's total exports.
