A range of these attributes are fundamental in nature and apply to a wide range of sectors that make Hong Kong one of the most favoured destinations to conduct business, as well as an attractive location for international executives and their families.

M.J.T. Rowse, Director General of InvestHK, a Government of Hong Kong Special Representative Region (HKSAR) told Khaleej Times in Abu Dhabi yesterday that Hong Kong could lay claim to four of the main attributes that qualifies the country as an international investment centre. He listed them as scope for convertible currency, the legal system, free flow of information and private ownership of the banking system.

Rowse who was here to conduct seminars in Dubai and Abu Dhabi to explain the investment opportunities in Hong Kong to a select group of businessmen and entrepreneurs, pointed out that most multinationals use Hong Kong as a springboard to the vast market of China.
