At Gitex, the partners will be showing Hitachi Data Systems’ HiCommand Storage Services Manager (HSSM), which provides the discovery, monitoring, reporting, active management, and automation capabilities required to ensure 100 per cent application availability and performance. HSSM is proven to improve IT efficiency, maximise storage resource utilisation, and reduce operational and capital costs.

Karim Saba, vice president, Sales, Naizak, explains that businesses in the region are increasingly in need of a highly integrated storage infrastructure.

“HiCommand Storage Services Manager makes it possible to safely manage the massive storage capacity growth that many organisations in the region are experiencing, and also provides the foundation to accommodate future growth.

Hitachi Data Systems’ commitment to open standards means that HSSM makes it possible to have central, integrated management of CPUs, storage networks, applications and storage systems provided by different manufacturers. It combines the functions that many storage management manufacturers offer as individual solutions into one single dynamic system that can also be tailored to meet the individual requirements of the customer.
