GPP networking event held

DUBAI — Under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Board of the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders, the Government Procurement Programme (GPP), under the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment, hosted a networking event recently.

The event was attended by leading officials from various government departments in Dubai who were updated about the programme's key achievements during 2005.

The networking event aimed at fostering relations between Dubai Government departments and the GPP members which includes small and medium-sized companies owned and operated by UAE national entrepreneurs.

Abdul Baset Al Janahi, CEO of Mohammed bin Rashid Est. for Young Business Leaders, hailed the cooperation extended by various Dubai Government departments to member companies of the establishment. He stressed that this support enhances the opportunities for local entrepreneurs to contribute to the country's economic development.
