Omans Galfar Engineering & Contracting Co has won an 87 million rial ($226 million) deal to build a sewerage network in Muscat, state-owned Oman Wastewater Services said yesterday.
Oman Wastewater, which awarded the contract to Galfar, said work on the network would start in April and last three years.
Galfar, Oman's biggest construction company, sold $156.1 million of shares in an initial public offering in September.
