The Lifebook P7010 is aimed at professionals, especially women executives, who like to travel light without compromising on the features they require in a high-performing notebook.

Belonging to the Lifebook series, it weighs only 1.3 kg, and with ultra-compact dimensions of 19.9 cm x 26.1 cm, can sit on even the smallest airplane tray-tables.

An Intel Pentium M Ultra-Low Voltage processor powers the P7010. Offering the user a choice of working an additional drive or second battery, the notebook is the ideal mobile system for any application scenario. With the first and second battery, the Lifebook P 7010 can reach a battery life of up to 10.5 hours.

“The concept of an ultra-portable notebook refers primarily to its light weight and small form factor, criteria that often preclude the inclusion of a modular bay and thus restrict the practicality of the device,” explained Susanne Lewitzki, product-marketing manager, Fujitsu Siemens Computers.

It also offers ideal connectivity options through integrated modem, LAN and wireless LAN. This small notebook comes with up to 1 GB of DDR SDRAM, while hard disk drives are available with 60 GB and 80 GB capacity.

“The Lifebook P7010 enhances the existing range of premium lifebook series from FSC. Its compact dimensions make it small enough to fit into a handbag, making it a high-quality and stylish electronic companion especially for the woman professional. The magnesium cover, silver function keys and the brilliant widescreen display make this system an attractive lifestyle product,” added Lewitzki.
