French Business Council in UAE celebrates 20th anniversary

DUBAI — May 10, will see the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the UAE's French Business Council (FBC), with gala dinner "A Parisian Extravagance" to be held at the Godolphin ballroom of the Jumeirah Emirates Towers.

Initiated by the French Businessmen and the Commercial Section of the French Embassy in 1987, the non-for-profit organisation has played a critical role in building relationships between the UAE and France, and currently has over 290 members. As President of the FBC and Executive Director of Bateaux Dubai, Patrice Douce is proud of the group's achievements, "We are thrilled that over the past 20 years the FBC has grown into a highly regarded organisation and has valuably contributed to the development of business between the UAE and France."
