Ten major corporate groups, who include Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group, Dubai Shopping Malls Group, Rivoli, Axiom Telecom, Jashanmal National Co. LLC, Ajmal, Dubai Duty Free, M. H. Alshaya Co., National Bank of Dubai and Visa International, are the 'Title' and 'Principal' Sponsors of the event.
Independent sponsor initiatives are the backbone of the Forever Dubai campaign. At this stage of preparation, the sponsors have already finalised their primary retail promotion and are now finalising the logistics of presenting their promotions to the visiting delegates in the most attractive and effective media of communication.
Shortly, an all-inclusive sponsors campaign will be seen in the outdoor media in Dubai. Says Stephen Vickerstaff, Regional Development Manager, M.H. Alshaya: "Our customers have a chance to win 25-kilos of gold when spending AED 200 or over at any one of our 25 Dubai outlets citywide. We are finalising other in-store promotions, and our shoppers will discover that many of our stores will offer free gifts with purchase, in-store raffles, special Forever Dubai discounts and multiple purchase offers at selected outlets."
Ajmal Perfumes, on the other hand, intends greeting delegates with perfume gifts, designed to appeal to a variety of tastes. The company is creating specially designed kiosks located at prime locations in Dubai, allowing customers to sample variety of fragrances, in addition to several promotional activities, including hampers, discounts and gifts with purchase deals.
Nazir Ajmal, Marketing Director comments, "We are very excited about our participation in Forever Dubai, as the event will gather many first time visitors who have yet to discover Dubai's unique offering. As one of the longest-established and internationally recognised perfume manufacturers in a region, where fragrances play an integral part of the heritage and culture, we are in a strong position to reflect this element to visitors."
As title sponsors of the Forever Dubai campaign, preparations are underway to dress up the Gold Souq and the participating retail outlets. While in town, DTCM will encourage delegates to experience the Dubai Gold Souq for themselves.
