Fitness First Burjuman celebrates 4th birthday

DUBAI - Fitness First Middle East marked the fourth anniversary of its club at the Burjuman mall in Dubai with a host of activities for members. During the three-day celebrations, the world’s leading health and fitness club chain and a member of the Landmark Group, gave away a bundle of exciting prizes.

Events kicked off with demos of Zumba, body balance, yoga, as well as Bollywood routines. The best performer at the Zumba taster class was awarded a trophy with a one-month free membership. Additionally, members that referred friends on the day were also awarded with a free month’s membership. The following day featured swimming relay competitions. A number of other water activities included water polo were conducted with Rey and Roy Lawas among the six winners to receive awards. A kick-boxing contest was also held where the winner received a one month membership. The grand prize winner was Axelle Doumerc who received a “Sea Wings” voucher for a seaplane tour of Dubai.

George Flooks, chief operating officer of Fitness First Middle East said: “As an integral part of their lives, we believe we have a responsibility to offer much more than just a simple gym membership. Our efforts are directed to help create a fitter lifestyle, and open doors to entertainment and networking for offering a holistic membership experience.”

Fitness First’s 19^th branch in the region recently opened doors at Oasis Centre. With more clubs coming up as part of the expansion strategy across the UAE, Fitness First is dedicated to “making the world a fitter place.”
