FIs buy Dh598.2m worth of shares on DFM last week
DUBAI - Dubai Financial Market announced today that the value of shares bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week (17 - 21 Jan.) reached Dhs598.2m comprising 45% of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached Dhs570.6m comprising 43% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached Dhs27.6m during the same period, as aggregate buy.
The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached Dhs282.1m comprising 21.2% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached Dhs223.2m which constitutes 16.8% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached Dhs58.9m during the period. as aggregate buy.
