Expo Pakistan 2005 to be held from Feb. 2

DUBAI - Pakistan government's Export Promotion Bureau, is organising the largest ever commercial exhibition titled Expo Pakistan 2005 from February 2 to 5 at the Karachi Expo Centre, Najeeb R. Abbasi, commercial counsellor of Pakistan in Dubai announced yesterday.

Inviting businessmen from the UAE to visit the expo, he said that the event includes exposition of Pakistani products, technical conferences and seminars. During the expo days, cultural and fashion shows and social events are also being held for the visitors to experience the rich cultural heritage and hospitality of Pakistan and its people.

He said that a wide range of Pakistan’s products and services will be on display, offering excellent opportunity to visiting business persons to not only source products and services to enhance their business profits but also to know of the innovation and developments that can lead to joint ventures, distribution arrangements, brand franchising, investment etc.

More than 1,000 world famous importers, heads of chain stores, opinion leaders and overseas clients are being invited to witness the expo, he said.

"This event will be an ideal platform to introduce the export potential products of Pakistan besides serving as global market place for direct interaction amongst buyers and sellers to provide opportunities in establishing new business alliances," he said.
