Etisalat announce 35pc dividend for H2 2007
ABU DHABI — With a dividend of 35 per cent for the second half of 2007, Etisalat total dividend has reached 60 per cent, as it offered 25 per cent for the first half. The Board members also discussed revenues and profits of the fiscal year 2007.
Etisalat board members praised the financial results for the year 2007, with net revenue of Dh21.340 billion and net profit of Dh7.297 billion, an increase of 31 per cent and 25 per cent respectively over 2006. The Board also put forward a proposal to distribute bonus shares at the rate of one share for every five shares held by the investor, amounting to 20 per cent of the issued and fully paid share capital.
