ETA Star and Cegelec to form 50:50 UAE venture

The new cooperation will service various light rail, metros and tramway projects and will offer turnkey solutions in the field of high voltage infrastructure business in the Gulf.

Prime Technologies LLC ( a branch of ETA Star Group) and Cegelec will conduct this exclusive cooperation from Dubai and will operate in UAE, Qatar and India. Since this is a totally new line, the estimated turnover for the next two to three years is expected to be approximately $100 million.

Commenting on the cooperation, A K Agarwal, Senior Executive Director, ETA M&E Division said, "Since there is no existing local company which has the past expertise in this specialised field, we expect to capture 50 per cent market share through this new cooperation," he adds.
