EPP Bags Nine Regional Print Awards

DUBAI - Dubai’s Emirates Printing Press (EPP) won nine awards at the Dubai Print Awards- GCC- 2008 held on January 27, 2009 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Across the event’s 14 offset printing categories — open to entries from all over Middle East — EPP took six gold awards, two silver awards and one jury award.

Mohamed Al Shirawi, the CEO of Emirates Printing Press (EPP), said that this achievement was built on the company’s commitment to both technology and human resources.

“Our success was achieved through four main factors. We have skilled, motivated and trained staff. We invest in up-to-date technology. We conduct rigorous self evaluation and continuously think ahead of the market in terms of new processes and finishes.”

EPP’s performance at the third annual Dubai Print Awards also reflected the company’s long experience in meeting higher standards across a wide range of products for customers in Europe and the United States as well as the Middle East.

The company’s winning submissions to the Dubai Print Awards 2008 included a book for Bukhamseen Holding, a perfume catalogue for Nabeel, a directory for Dubai Media City, a slider box for Mars GCC and an innovative paper bag made from newsprint.
