Represented by CEO Ahmad bin Shafar, Empower is participating in the event with an impressive track record of achievement and success, having already secured a number of projects in Dubai in less than three years.

The Empower delegation includes Samer Khoudeir, Director of Sales and Marketing; Ramadurai Ramesh, Director of Finance; Tariq Alyasi, Maintenance and Operations Manager; and, Moustapha Assayed, Senior Engineering Manager.

Attendees and participants at this year's IDEA event — "District Energy: Today's Solution, Tomorrow's Advantage" — will represent a large number of district energy companies from countries such as USA, Denmark, South Korea as well as countries in the Middle East.

This will provide Empower and others an international audience to discuss the latest in new technology, trends and achievements in the industry.

Empower was established on December 25, 2003, and is a joint venture between Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Dubai technology and Media Free Zone (TECOM), providing energy-efficient services that are reliable and environmentally-friendly in Dubai and the region.

In the conference, Bin Shafar will be part of a panel discussion on the opportunities and challenges facing the district energy industry, as well as policies on new district cooling development systems.
