Emirates Chairman Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum and Ahmad bin Byat, Director-General of Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone celebrated the new partnership at a signing ceremony in the Dubai Internet City on Saturday, heralding a new chapter for both organisations.
The Emirates deal with EHDF provides hosting solutions for the airline's new Internet Booking Engine (IBE), as well as security and disaster recovery in case of untoward incident.
Commenting on the new relationship, Shaikh Ahmed said: "Emirates has great confidence in the services provided by eHosting DataFort. This will prove a win-win partnership for both organisations. As we grow our business and refine our operations, this partnership will allow our customers to enjoy a seamless travel booking experience with Emirates and will drive up their satisfaction in dealing with us."
