Emirates Bank starts Salik cards recharging service

DUBAI — To coincide with the introduction of the Salik toll service by RTA, Emirates Bank launched the recharging service for Salik toll cards through its electronic banking channels. The service is available to all bank customers through Banknet (Emirates Bank's internet banking service) and meMOBILE (SMS Pull Service).

By the end of this week the recharging service will also be available through the bank's ATM and CDM machines for all Salik customers to recharge their toll cards whether they are Emirates Bank customers or not.

Emirates Bank is also taking an active role in retailing Salik toll cards.

Louis Scotto, general manager, retail banking, Emirates Bank said: "Emirates Bank is proud to be one of the first banks to provide the Salik electronic recharging service which will contribute to help UAE citizens adapt to the newly launched toll system."
