Emaar Properties launches Rs3b project in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD- The leading real estate developing company of Dubai Emaar Properties has launched work on the Rs3 billion prestigious project of business to leisure facilities in Hyderabad.

The project includes a business hotel and an international convention centre near the recently inaugurated international exhibition centre HITEX and a 18 hole International Championship Golf Course at Manikonda near the Indian School of Business.

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and the Chariman of Emaar Properties Mohammed Ali Alabbar took part in the ground breaking ceremony. Mohammed Ali Alabbar said that launching this project was the first step for Emaar towards realising the joint dream of not only doing business in Hyderabad but also contributing to the emergence of Hyderabad as a global business destination.

"This project is a result of the vision and cooperation of Shaikh Mohammed and the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu," he said. Alabbar said that the proposed business hotel will have three hundred rooms and the convention centre will have a capacity of 3,000 expandable to 5,000.

The 18 hole championship golf course will have all the world class facilities, including a 50-room Boutique hotel for those who come from outside the city to play golf. The Golf Club will also have 600 housing units, including villas, and apartments. The entire project of hotel and the convention centre will be ready in fifteen months while the Golf Course will be ready for inauguration in a year's time, he said.
