The occasion was marked by the company holding a customer care initiative, introducing new Meadows homeowners to EMAAR and its subsidiaries.

This handover brings the total number of villas in Phase 1 that has been delivered since the initial launch in June, 2002 to over 300. The Meadows is EMAAR's premium villa project next to Emirates Hills comprising luxurious double-storied villas of three to six bedrooms.

Mohammed Al Falasi, Manager, Property Management, EMAAR Properties said: "It is essential to communicate our commitment to our new homeowners and to do our utmost in welcoming them into The Meadows community. The session provided the opportunity for homeowners to interact with EMAAR's customer care team on all aspects relating to their new homes."

"Not only did the new homeowners meet with the EMAAR customer care team, but Emrill Services and Sahm Technologies also provided an overview of the infrastructure, maintenance aspects and high-speed visual technology for Internet, television and communication systems that await the homeowners," he concluded.

Attending the event, businessman Deepak Kalmani commented on his purchase: "I believe buying property rather than renting is a wise decision. I also find Dubai property a good investment in comparison to what is available on the international market."

He added: "For me this is the ideal location - it is close to my office and I love the fact that I will be part of Dubai's golfing community. This is a great lifestyle and one I look forward to when I move in shortly."

Anthony Hatter, Vice-President of ABN Amro, said: "I have been based in Dubai for two years now, but have spent almost twenty years in the Middle East. Purchasing property in Dubai makes perfect sense, since I see this as my home base for some time to come. The fact that the Montgomerie Golf Club is nearby makes this an attractive community to live in for me and my family."
