Under the umbrella of the Department of Municipal Affairs, the Abu Dhabi City Municipality is participating in the Career Fair 2016, which kick-started last Monday in Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The Municipality is offering tens of job opportunities for qualified Emirati job seekers.
Musbbah Mubarak Al Murar, Acting General Manager of Abu Dhabi City Municipality said:
"The Municipality views Abu Dhabi Career Fair as a key platform for participating bodies to offer job opportunities by targeting young job seekers who come to the Fair looking for vacancies matching to their qualifications and experience. Thus it contribute to achieving the Emiratisation drive in an optimal manner and avail the opportunity to assess labor market needs."
The Municipality, he adds, enables the Fair visitors to submit their job applications in a smooth manner, as it has assigned a specialised team to receive male and female citizens, provide adequate information to applicants about job benefits and responsibilities, and the possibility to follow up their applications via the Municipality's contact details.
"Out of its keenness to implement the Emiratisation plan, Abu Dhabi City Municipality launched in 2013, in collaboration with Musanada, and Abu Dhabi Systems and Information Centre, a new online programme for managing the recruitment process in Abu Dhabi City Municipality, linked with the Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council, and Jobs Abu Dhabi Portal with the aim of attracting competent staffs from within the UAE via an online process starting with the submission of job application and ending with the employment of the candidate," continued Al Murar.
Al Murar called upon all qualified Emirati cadres to seize this opportunity and submit their qualifications to the participating entities. He pointed out that the Municipality would consider all applications seriously and carefully, besides subjecting candidates to interviews and accordingly recruiting successful ones in certain specialties in accordance with the Municipality's needs and vacancies on offer.
"The Municipality pursues a policy revolving around developing young national cadres in keeping with general policy agenda of Abu Dhabi Government aimed at providing the public sector with skilled and competent cadres who would contribute to realising the government's strategic goals of achieving the highest Emiratization rates in the public sector."
