EBI in deal with e-quality college

DUBAI e-Total Quality Management College, the first virtual educational institution in the region, yesterday joined hands with Emirates Bank International to offer online payment processing solutions.

Emirates Bank Payment Gateway solution enables e-Total Quality Management College to authorise and reconcile all major credit cards and Direct Debit payments online.

The bank said that e-Total Quality Management College will provide knowledge in a virtual environment for all knowledge seekers, in a comprehensive and pervasive approach to suit all needs and paces.

Dr. Mansoor Al Awar the college director, said that the college is committed to academic building, assurance of content and chalking out strategies. It will work side by side to gain academic recognition from the ministry of education in the UAE and also strive to be internationally recognised through affiliations and accreditation.

"We are glad to partner with Emirates Bank in acquiring the payment options, due to its ease in implementation and outstanding technical support and this joint effort has proven to be mutually beneficial. We are certain of its potential for further enhancements," he added.

Mohammed Al Jallaf, senior manager of Electronic Banking Services, Emirates Bank, said that in supporting yet another e-government initiative, Emirates Bank has provided e-Total Quality Management College with the payment mechanism that facilitates online payments using the bank's Payment Gateway Solution and E-wallet Services, which complete the cycle of registration process of e-Total Quality Management college's various educational programmes offered.

"We are pleased to be part of such an endeavor that will add value to the online delivery of quality education in the Arab world and we consider that this alliance would be expected to endorse the e- business activities," Al Jallaf pointed out.
