Dubai World hosts 'Get To Know' event for managers
DUBAI — Dubai World, which is marking one year of its launch as a holding company for managing a vast portfolio of businesses and projects, held a 'Get To Know Dubai World' forum involving the top management of its business units recently.
The forum was designed to enhance an understanding of the group's collective strengths, leading to an enhanced sense of communication and to identify growth opportunities.
Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, chairman, Dubai World, said: "We are living in a world driven by information and communications, and for an organisation to succeed there must be a coherent vision. Events such as this 'Get To Know Dubai World' forum are crucial for effective business management and operations and are an excellent tool for effective strategising."
