Dubai, Kenya to Boost Trade Ties

DUBAI — As part of the Kenya Week in the UAE, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry organised ‘Kenya Trade, Investment and Tourism Day’ in association with the Kenyan Embassy at the Chamber premises on Tuesday.

Hamad Buamim, Director-General, Dubai Chamber, welcomed the Kenyan delegation headed by Mohamed A. Gello, Kenyan Ambassador to the UAE, and Thuita Mwangi, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nairobi. Buamim reiterated the need for increased co-operation between the two sides to promote trade, investment and tourism. He also stated that there was a core need to support the growth of Nairobi and Dubai and to work towards promoting and strengthening trade ties between the strategic trading partners.

Buamim assured the visiting delegation of the Chamber’s commitment to extend all possible facilities to the Kenyan businessmen and help them set up new direct businesses and joint ventures in Dubai.
