Dubai Helishow to be held next year

DUBAI - Dubai Helishow 2004, the much awaited, much talked about and first ever Helicopter Technology and Operations Exhibition is to be launched from the 6th to 9th December 2004, at the Dubai Airport Expo six months before the Paris Air Show and will also be backed by the UAE Air Force, the Dubai Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), Dubai International Airport, Government of Dubai, Department of Economic Development (DED) and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Important helicopter manufacturers and companies from all over the world have indicated their desire to exhibit at this specialised event for the rotary industry, they include: Bell Helicopters, Bristow, Canadian Heli Structures, Composite Technology, FLIR, Gelbyson, Hamilton Sundstrand, Headset Services, Heli-Hoyle, Aviation Production, Helinetwork, IAR SA Brasov, Isolair, Kazan, Llyod Helicopters, Lord Corp, Mesco Airlines, Mil Helicopter Plant, Northstar Aerospace, Onboard Systems, Patria Heli Support, Patriot Aviation, PZL Swidnik, RFD Beaufort, Rotortech, Transaero, Sikorsky, Simplex, SNECMA, Standard Aero and VAO Interprofavia and many others.

Dubai Helishow 2004 has been introduced to the region in response to the growing interest and rapid development in this particular sector of the aviation industry.

The interest generated can be gauged by the fact that a number of renowned helicopter manufacturers have confirmed their intent to exhibit, and going by these phenomena an exhibition beyond comparison is definitely on the cards.
