Dubai Chamber Meets with Representatives 
of Emirate’s Business Community

DUBAI - Officials of Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry met representatives of Dubai’s Business Councils and Business Groups operating under the auspices of the chamber at the 4th Quarterly Roundtable Meetings of the year.

Access to credit for Small and Medium Enterprises , or SMEs, high government fines and fees, and other administrative issues were flagged up by representatives of Business Councils and Groups during the meeting.

Eng Hamad Buamim, Director General, Dubai Chamber, maintained that over the past few months Dubai had successfully hosted a number of successful international exhibitions and trade shows, indicating that Dubai means business and that it is determined to move ahead despite global economic crisis.

The Dubai Chamber received 45 delegations comprising 241 delegates from Government and business organisations from the world over during the last three months while also the Dubai Chamber delegation visited Marche Region in Italy, Braziland Hong Kong.
