During the meeting, Al Mutaiwee, said: ‘We work hard to pursue the load, the DCCI and its three branches issue 1200 certificates of origin everyday other than those of the national products exported or re-exported to the AGCC countries.’

They discussed the ways of strengthening co-operation between both the organisations and highlighted the role played by the DTCM Saudi Arabia Office, based in Jeddah, to promote tourism in Dubai amongst the provinces of the Kingdom.

Al Mutaiwee focused the historic partnership between DCCI and DTCM since they were working together under the name (Dubai Tourism And Commerce Promotion Board) which was established in 1989. He also added that the Chamber succeeded in attracting many countries to take Dubai as a base, so the Emirate hosts about 60 foreign trade centers and offices.

He explained the role of the DCCI in promoting Dubai as a trade and tourism hub.
