The two-day meeting of the Advisory Board in Dubai was hosted by the Dubai Airport Free Zone. This was the second official meeting after DSO had announced the formation of its Advisory Board last October. The meeting was attended by the board members, Dafza directors and senior DSO officials. All the DSO Advisory Board members are experts in semiconductor-related industries.

Dr Mohammed Al Zarouni, Director-General, Dafza, said: "We intend to make Dubai Silicon Oasis a vibrant community of design, manufacturing, and original equipment manufacturers, and their supply chain partners. Our discussions with the Advisory Board members centred on their recommendations for DSO and other duties that the members have been entrusted with."
