Dolphin Energy and Injazat signs IT pact

ABU DHABI — Dolphin Energy announced yesterday that the company has entered into a long term IT outsourcing agreement with Injazat Data Systems, a UAE registered and regionally based IT Services Provider.

The long term contract to this effect has been signed by Dolphin Executive Vice President Sandy Lowe and Injazat COO Lorcan Malone. Injazat is a joint venture between Mubadala Development Company of Abu Dhabi and the US IT & Business Services company, Electronic Data Systems (EDS).

The Agreement covers IT support services in the UAE, associated with the management, maintenance and monitoring of Dolphin's IT infrastructure. Services will include Desktop, Network and Helpdesk, as well as Server, Security and Service Management.

“This agreement is part of Dolphin's long term strategic objective to build and maintain a robust computing network and IT infrastructure to support its Corporate, Projects and Plant applications and operations in the UAE,” Lowe said.
