Doha Bank, Birla Public School enter deal
DOHA — Doha Bank and Birla Public School in Doha have entered into an agreement under which parents and guardians will be able to pay school fees over the Internet, while students will be able to open 'Al Dana Young Savers' accounts with the Bank and get access to all the electronic banking services at Doha Bank such as DBank Online, DBank SMS and DBank Dial (for phone banking.)
School Principal, Dr Mohan Thomas, and Doha Bank's Acting General Manager, R. Seetharaman, said both parties were keen to develop the students' use of modern technology and to simplify procedures such as fee settlement. Seetharaman added: "We are extremely happy that Birla Public School is one of our first partners in the education-e-commerce area."
