The 37 Djibouti customs employees attended several classes on streamlining customs procedures, implementation of international standard inspection, materials' movement and the development of administrative, financial and IT systems that will help them to ensure additional shipping facilities and services to strengthen the Djibouti investment and also will stale the development of technologies and customs procedures from Djibouti strategic center as a connection point between East Asia, Africa and Europe countries.
The ceremony was attended by Djibouti Consul General in Dubai, Othman Mousa Darar, and Hamad Fadhil Al Mazrooi, DCI Chief Executive Officer and number of DCI top officials. Darar praised the support provided to Djibouti by the UAE in general and Dubai in particular which supervised the development of several essential facilities in Djibouti through Dubai Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation.
