DI launches its Permits Department

DUBAI — Dubai Industrial City yesterday launched the Permits Department to assist investors with their proposals for construction of industrial facilities. The move is part of the engineering compliance that is being implemented by Maqayees, the Centre for Industrial Standards.

Rashed Al Ansari, Chief Executive Officer at Dubai Industrial City, which operates under the umbrella of Tatweer, said the launch of the new Permits Department brings another innovative service to the clients.

He said: "The Permits Department will review the construction plans, designs, and application procedures and documents of investors. This will ensure that they adhere to our Design and Construction Guidelines and Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards, as well as local and federal laws.
