Deutsche Bank to open Riyadh office
LONDON — Deutsche Bank is planning to open an office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, expanding the German bank’s presence in the Gulf where it already has an office in Dubai. A Deutsche spokeswoman on Tuesday confirmed the plans for a Riyadh office, but could give no details on timing.
Deutsche is investing in the Gulf region and in April agreed an investment banking joint-venture with a company led by Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal to provide equities brokerage and other investment banking services in Saudi Arabia.
