The next five years will see unprecedented construction activity in the emirates, with mega offshore developments like Al Reem, Al Raha and Al Shams, as well as onshore projects comprising residential and commercial towers, shopping malls and villa complexes.

“Abu Dhabi is set to become a beehive of construction activity over the next five years and beyond, with projects like the Al Raha Beach Development, a mixed-use township of 60 towers housing 120,000 and several others,” said Rizwan Sajan, Chairman of Danube Group.

Anticipating the demand, Danube Building Materials recently opened a new branch in Abu Dhabi, its second in the emirate. Danube expects a turnover of Dh50 million in the very first year of operations.
