Defence Solutions JV Launched in Abu Dhabi
ABU DHABI - A joint venture company has been launched in the capital, which has put the UAE in the group of nations that have expertise in electronic warfare, innovations and solutions.
Elettronics-Baynunah (ELTBAT) Electronic Systems Development is a joint venture firm formed by Baynunah Aviation Technology (BAT), a firm based in the capital which will hold 51 per cent share while the rest will be held by Italian firm Electtronica S.P.A (ELT).
The JV has been implemented under the UAE Offset Programme by Elettronica, which has a defence equipment supply contract with the UAE Armed Forces.
ELTBAT offers a wide selection of services to the Air Force, Navy and military intelligence units in the UAE and the GCC countries in the field of operational support and engineering.
