He says he would only return to the post if people certify his honesty by voting for him in the upcoming Delhi election
The election took place during the association's recent annual general meeting and Air Cargo Executive conference that took place in Reims, France.
Al Jallaf has been associated with Tiaca since 1991 and became a trustee member of the organisation in 1996, representing DCV and Department of Civil Aviation. He said: "As the only truly representative ‘voice' of the air cargo industry, Tiaca brings together all the links of the air logistics chain. Its mission is to advance the interests of the air cargo industry and strengthen its contribution to world trade expansion.
Tiaca accomplishes much of its work through an active committee structure. As part of the 14-member executive council my duties will include participating in the operations committee, security committee, membership committee and the industrial affairs committee."
Last year, Al Jallaf was elected the chairman of the membership sub-committee for the Middle East and Indian subcontinent region by Tiaca. Ali, who graduated in 1988, holds a Bachelors degree in Aviation Management from the Embriy Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida.
