DCCI welcomes New Zealand trade delegation

DUBAI — Abdul Rahman Ghanim Al Mutaiwee, Director General of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), received Phil Goff, Minister of Trade, Defence, Disarmament and Arms Control and Associate Minister of Finance of New Zealand who is heading a trade delegation that included Jim Howell, Ambassador of New Zealand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting discussed the potential ways to improve the trade relations between the UAE and New Zealand and the call for the UAE businessmen to benefit from the investment opportunities available in New Zealand, especially in tourism, medical care and education sectors.

Al Mutaiwee welcomed the Minister stressing that the UAE and New Zealand enjoy a strong bilateral diplomatic and economic relations and that New Zealand is one of the most attractive tourist destination for the UAE nationals.

He also spoke of the strategic location of Dubai and the economic growth it witnesses which made the emirate a world trade hub where thousands of local and international companies operate actively, thanks to the variable investment opportunities and attractive facilities available at Dubai's free zones.
