DCCI to take part in business meet

DUBAI - Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry would participate with Royal Danish Consulate and Trade Commission of Denmark, Dubai in organising the "Business Conference of Public Health and Food Safety" between the Kingdom of Denmark and United Arab Emirates, that would be held on October 21-22 at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai.

The conference is being held on the occasion of the Danish Business Delegation's visit to UAE, with the participation of Prince Joachim, Prince of the Kingdom of Denmark, and Ms. Mariann Fishcer Boel, Danish Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries. Abdul Rahman Ghanim Al Mutaiwee, Director General of Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry held a meeting with Flemming Jensen, Consul, Royal Danish Consulate, UAE at his office to discuss the latest arrangements to prepare for the conference and guest delegation. The first day's discussions would cover the food safety trends, its relative procedures and legislations in Denmark, whereas the second day's discussions would focus on ways and technical means applied in food safety control in the latter country.

During conference discussions, specialist professors from Danish universities, representatives from major Danish companies dealing in that topic would give lectures relevant to food and public health, health care styles, preventive systems, infectious diseases control and normal precaution procedures applied in Denmark to warrant food safety.
