DUBAI — Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) will host today a conference on Islamic Financial Institutions under the patronage of Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Education.

The event is organised by the faculty of Sharia and Law in coordination with DCCI for the duration of two days ending on May 17, 2005. The main speaker for the event is Dr. Mahatir Mohammed, former Malaysian Prime Minister. The conference is to focus on the various legislative and financial issues related to islamic finance.
