Damas, Tiffany introduce the Elsa Peretti collection

The Italian-born designer and recluse Elsa Peretti is acclaimed for her sculptural interpretations of forms found in nature, including bones, beans, hearts, snakes, teardrops and starfish. The collection also includes contemporary designs for the home, such as vases and glass cases.

The designer's jewellery is created in platinum, 18-carat gold and silver, though she is best known for her works in sterling silver. Among her signature designs are Diamonds by the Yard, a fashion statement that gives diamonds inventive options for day as well as evening, and the Open Heart collection, a modern classic.

Other designs include The Elsa Peretti mesh collection, based on fine mesh jewellery and purses in vogue from 1900 through the 1920s; sleek Bone cuffs that elegantly conform to the wrist; the Wave collection, and the open-shape Sevillana inspired by the gypsy style of Seville.
