"The company is planning to expand its business, both in terms of existing product categories and new geographies," Dabur India CEO Sunil Duggal said, adding the manufacturing operation in Pakistan is part of their global expansion plans.

Duggal, however, did not give any financial or project details about the new manufacturing facility.

Dabur, which already has manufacturing facilities in neighbourhood Nepal and Bangladesh, said it has made its foray in Pakistan through its subsidiary Asia Consumer Care (Pak) Ltd.

The company is also planning to expand its existing product portfolio by adding more products in the skin-care and home-care segment and is also mulling the acquisition route in order to expand the business.
