Curtain down on IFEX 2003
ABU DHABI The five-day IFEX 2003, the International Exhibition of Concepts in Interiors & Fiurnishing will end this evening at Abu Dhabi International Exhibitions Centre.
IFEX 2003 managed to attract region's key decision makers in construction, contracting, turnkey projects and interior design sectors.
Exhibitors have been jubilant over the response and business they got from Abu Dhabi's commercial and individual customers. One exhibitor told Khaleej Times that it was his first time at IFEX, but he got two orders from bulk buyers while there were about five to six big buyers who would be confirming their orders some time next month.
An organiser said multi-million dirham orders have been placed with companies for the interiors of several of the new hotels being built in the area and many orders were also placed to furnish the interiors of large-scale residential projects in the capital.
