The two-day conference which is hosted by Citrix Systems and organised by Mindware, its distributor in the region, is supported by leading regional partners, Microsoft, SAP Arabia, HP and Inmarsat and will address the fundamental issues of building efficient technology platforms that will take Middle East organisations into the new 'On Demand' era. The Citrix iForum will open on the first day with a welcome note from Dr. Omar Bin Sulaiman, CEO of Dubai Internet City, followed by a full two-day agenda with presentations by key speakers such as Dave Cearley, Senior VP at META Group, David Jones, senior VP of Corporate Development at Citrix Systems and Jean-Marc Clark, Director of Analyst relations at Citrix Systems Corp who will look at Citrix's vision and strategy in the region, access infrastructure for the on-demand enterprise and the challenges of driving down TCO and maximising ROI.

"The Citrix iForum is a global event that has now put its footprint in the Middle East with two events last year in the UAE and Saudi and the third one kicking off tomorrow and promising to be the biggest one yet," said Antoine Aguado, regional manager, Citrix Middle East.

"The iForum aims to take the region to the 'On Demand' era of pervasive technology - using the Internet and combining fixed and mobile network access to empower people with reliable, secure access to the information they need to work with. It is an important event that will allow us to help Middle East organisations to do this effectively and efficiently."
